You've Done It!
So you have finally made that purchase for the ideal lace wig! This is the exciting part. You finally received it in the mail and it's exactly as you imagined, but now what? You look outside and all you see is a cold weather forecast. Is it too cool to wear such a beautiful piece outside? What should you do if it gets really windy or dry? How do you maintain the hair during a brittle, cold weather condition?
Let's talk about hair and cold weather:
During a cold or breezy weather, your first thought should be to arm yourself with the right moisturizers. During the cold season or a breezy, bitter sweet day the following are the things you should and should not do with your lace wig: 1. Do not wash it frequently. In fact, you should only wash your unit or hair system once a month to avoid drying it out.2. Moisturize it as often as necessary. We recommend twice a day or more if necessary. The Kapenzo™ moisturizing serum is perfect to keep your hair in the ideal condition. 3. Avoid excess heat. Heat will dry out your hair, so if you don't need to curl or straighten it during those cold patches, then avoid it at all cost. 4. Put your hair in a pony tail. believe it or not but wrapping your hair in a nice bun or placing it in a loose ponytail helps keep it moist and prevents it from drying out while you are outside or in a dry air environment. 5. Sleep on a silk pillowcase if you sleep with your lace wig on, if you do not then ensure that you place your system in a silk wrap to prevent it from drying out. Purchasing a stock or custom lace system is an investment so treat it right and be gentle with it at all times.
