What is the right lace wig? It's the right one for you.

Here are a few tips to consider:

Hair type: Do you choose Remy or Virgin?
Choosing remy or virgin hair depends on many aspects; such as budget and longevity.

Let's talk budget, real remy hair can range depending on the cap construction such as a lace front wig to a full lace wig, length, texture, density and color. Generally it ranges from around $180 and above.
Virgin hair is roughly 2X more than Remy hair and again that depends on the type of virgin hair and all the specifications involved in developing the unit.

Cap construction: Do you want a full lace wig or a lace front wig? Do you want it to be all lace so you can adhere (glue) it down or are you intending on using clips and straps for convenience. That's definitely something to consider when choosing the right unit.

Let's talk hair texture. The rule of thumb is wavy or curly hair is more to handle and tends to dry out easily. If you want the best of both worlds, choose a natural or silky straight texture because when you wet it and allow it to air dry overnight, most hair textures will go into a nice beach wave.

Choosing the right lace wig is not about what you see on others but what you see on yourself. Ensure that the hair type, length, texture, color and volume suites your face structure, body frame and lifestyle. Remember the thicker the volume (also known as density), the harder it is to maintain. In addition, the lighter the color (I.e blondes) the less it's likely to last as long as natural unprocessed color or dark to medium color.
